RETURN POLICY:No returns shall be accepted for any parts installed on the vehicle during service or sold separately to the customer. All sales are final.

INSURANCE DISCLAIMER: Customers are hereby notified that neither their vehicle nor any personal property inside the vehicle is insured by JAP AUTO FIX for its actual cash value. JAP AUTO FIX assumes no responsibility for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, vandalism, accident, or any cause beyond its control. The facility does not provide insurance coverage against such losses. If the vehicle sustains damage while being operated by JAP AUTO FIX or its employees, the customer agrees to rely on their own insurance coverage to recover any losses or damages.

PERMISSION TO OPERATE VEHICLE: Customers grant JAP AUTO FIX and its employees permission to operate the vehicle on streets, highways, or elsewhere for the purpose of testing and inspection.

PERMISSION TO SUBLET WORK: Customers authorize JAP AUTO FIX to sublet any portion of the repairs if necessary.

PAYMENT TERMS: All repair charges, including labor and materials, are due at the time of vehicle delivery or within two (2) days of completion notice. Completion notice may be provided via text message, phone call, email, or U.S. mail. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate contact information. All services provided by JAP AUTO FIX are non-refundable. In the event of payment disputes, chargebacks, or non-payment, JAP AUTO FIX reserves the right to file a mechanic’s lien on the vehicle to recover all charges and associated fees.

STORAGE FEES: Failure to pick up the vehicle within two (2) days of completion notice will result in a storage fee of $25 per day thereafter.

COLLECTION REMEDIES: Unpaid invoices may be forwarded to JAP AUTO FIX’s legal representatives or third-party collections after thirty (30) days. The customer shall be responsible for reasonable attorney and collection fees.

VEHICLE RELEASE AUTHORIZATION: JAP AUTO FIX is authorized to release the vehicle and any contents to any individual presenting this receipt.

LIEN AND AUCTION RIGHT: JAP AUTO FIX is granted a lien on the vehicle for all repair charges, storage fees, and towing costs. If charges remain unpaid, JAP AUTO FIX may sell the vehicle at public auction after providing twenty (20) days written notice to the registered owner and the Department of Motor Vehicles. Auction proceeds shall first satisfy the lien and associated fees, with any remaining balance transferred to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

UNEXPECTED REPAIR CONDITIONS: Customers acknowledge that unforeseen issues may arise during disassembly or repair which could require additional parts or labor beyond the original estimate. The customer grants JAP AUTO FIX authorization to perform any additional repairs deemed necessary to prevent further damage or safety issues. JAP AUTO FIX will make reasonable attempts to communicate changes prior to completion whenever possible.
